We seek to support and amplify the voices of people in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields that are often suppressed, ignored, or neglected. We yearn for healing the broken places in the culture of STEM to move toward a culture of mentorship and whole-human care for people at any phase of their career. We have been feeling the pain of #MeToo (in the academy and the world) as well as broader social movements toward greater equity in the workplace and life. Healing the broken places might look like an ability to listen, connect, and create collaboration and community. We experience the calling of STEM for curiosity and innovation yet have not experienced deep equity or care. We want to see high-quality STEM work with a love ethic.

Our role is to create a container, guidelines & structure that facilitates transformation of the individual & culture of STEM fields. We do this through workshops, articles, and community care.

We believe that changing the culture begins with individuals and is propagated through the system as methods of engagement and relationships with one another. As patterns of interactions are consciously chosen and normalized it becomes the culture of the group. How we gather matters.
